What can I do with ESafe?
ESafe allows you access to your accounts from anywhere you can access
the Internet. It is available any time, day or night. Using ESafe, you
will be able to:
- View up to the minute account information
- View up to 30 days account history
- Transfer funds between accounts
- Communicate with the bank via email
- Retrieve statements and check images

What kind of account do I need to access ESafe?
In order to use ESafe, you must have a Bank of South Carolina checking,
savings, money market account, or a Certificate of Deposit. We offer
Esafe to both personal and business customers.
I don't have an account with The Bank of South Carolina. Can I open
an account online?
We encourage you to visit the bank to open accounts. We put a high value
on our personal relationships with our customers. Those relationships
are important factors in many of our decisions.
How do I get started on ESafe if I am an existing customer?
If you are already a Bank of South Carolina customer, you can get started
by filling out an enrollment form with any of our personal bankers.
A temporary password will then be emailed to you. You will be prompted
to change your Access ID and password the first time you sign on.
What if I am a new customer to the Bank of South Carolina?
If you do not currently have a Bank of South Carolina account, you will
need to visit one of our four conveniently located branches to open
an account and enroll in ESafe.
How do I make deposits if I cannot visit a Bank of South Carolina
branch?
If you cannot make deposits in person, you can mail your deposits to
the bank. Deposits can also be made electronically through direct deposit.
How do I get cash if I cannot reach a branch?
You can use your Bank of South Carolina Visa Check Card at any STAR
or CIRRUS terminal and anywhere VISA is accepted.
How much does ESafe cost?
Accessing ESafe is free. However, accounts are still subject to fees
as described in our Schedule of Fees and Charges. You are responsible
for your Internet Service Provider's fees.
How will I get into ESafe after I am enrolled?
In order to access your account information, you will navigate to The
Bank of South Carolina's web site at www.banksc.com. You will then click
ESafe: Internet Banking to go to the ESafe Home page. From the ESafe
Home page, click ESafe Banking to go to the log in screen. The first
time you log in, you need to click First Time User and enter your primary
account as your Access ID and your temporary password that was emailed
to you. You will be prompted to change your Access ID and your password
the first time you sign on.
What account information does ESafe provide?
You can view your entire account relationship or access individual accounts
by clicking on the account number. You will be able to view:
- Current Balance
- Today's Transactions
- Statement Detail
- Today's Posted Items
- Past Statement Detail
- Today's Inclearings

Can I use personal financial management software?
You can download your statement into Quicken, Microsoft Money, or any
comma delimited program such as Microsoft Excel.
